The MGXTSV Unitube Mining Flame Retardant Cable comes in a structure that has a 250μm optical fiber that's placed inside a loose tube. It is made of high-modulus material and is filled with waterproof compounds to keep the moisture away. The loose tube is longitudinally wrapped with a double-sided coated steel tape (PSP) layer, and the water blocking material is placed between the steel tape to block the water migration.

On either side of the cable, two parallel steel wires are placed, and the sheath that resists flame is extruded to form the cable.

Application: This makes the cable preferable for installation in ducts, aerial spans, and direct burial applications.
